1Sun is an early-stage UK energy startup building a platform that helps households configure, finance and optimise solar and battery systems.

Working with the CEO and software engineers, I lead product and brand design across the website, web app and customer journey. I shaped the visual identity and design system alongside the flows for choosing a solution, checking equipment compatibility and understanding a quote.

The central challenge was to make technical and financial decisions easier to navigate. The experience gives customers a clear route based on their situation, explains what affects their price and shows potential benefits as estimates they can explore over time.
